Artist Residency at Greenway House
Exeter UNESCO City of Literature | Agatha Christie’s Historic Home
Selected as one of just three artists from around the world to take part in an international artist residency initiative connected with Exeter UNESCO City of Literature, I undertook a creative residency at Greenway House, the historic Devon home of world-renowned crime writer Agatha Christie.
Immersed in the literary heritage, enchanting gardens and distinctive atmosphere of Greenway, I developed a body of original artworks inspired by the house, its surrounding landscape and the enduring relationship between art, literature and place.
Through my work, I sought to capture the spirit of this remarkable literary landmark, translating its history, beauty and sense of imagination into a personal visual narrative. The residency offered a meaningful opportunity to engage with Britain’s rich literary culture and explore new ways of bringing stories to life through art.
This project reflects my ongoing interest in the dialogue between visual storytelling, cultural heritage and the places that inspire our imagination.
